Where can I download Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment for free?
I want to read the book online but I can’t find a link where you can view it for free, even though the link says FREE. You get in there and it says you have to pay like $ 7 with a credit card…. Please help! Im dying to read the series, my friend lent me Fang and i read like the first chapter and I was hooked, but I couldn’t keep reading; cause it isn’t the first book and I don’t want to know anything I’m not supposed to yet!

There is no free and legal place to download it for free. Use the public library if you can not afford to buy it. James Patterson earns his living by SELLING books. Respect that!

Are Tarot Cards Bad? Yes please read about my experience?
Hi, the reason I created my profile on Yahoo Answers is specifically to be able to answer question like this. I was very “drawn” to both Tarot and “Angel” cards (the sugar coated pretty ones masquerading as real angels) and I gave it a go, I purchased some Angel cards from the spirituality section of my local Boarders book shop. I have always had a fascination for all things new age and hunger for knowledge and I guess comfort. I took the pack home and started doing “readings” all the messages were very nice and sweet and I thought well, this is ok. I had my Bible to hand as I was a bit scarred of what I may be messing with, and already had a good faith in Jesus and God and felt sure they would protect me if I was barking up the wrong tree. I felt instantly that on some level this was not actually a good thing, and I was compelled to open the Bible at that point, for an answer and guidance, and the page I randomly opened it on was the message that my eyes fell upon, it said “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame.” Well it hit home and I threw the cards out immediately. Although I “wanted” to keep them I could not ignore God’s message. And now here’s the weird thing, 4 months later I totally forgot about the warning message and I found myself curious again and progressed from a few weeks of playing with crystals and books on aura’s etc to buying ANOTHER set of “Angel” cards. It was like a seduction, they drew me in. Long story short I ended up with a set of angel cards and they told me such wonderful things, there was def a power in them as the same readings and spread kept coming up, I felt truly connected to the divine and would sit there with my bible, say a prayer and then use them, forgetting that I had had the warning before. I even decide buying a proper “tarot deck” would be a good idea! I still wasn’t sure about the tarot cards and so they were still in the box but I was using the angel cards. I then decided to try an online 7 day tarot reading “for free” to dabble a bit and see what it was like, the seven day reading came up with a card for each day, all was fine until I saw Wednesday… Yes you’ve guessed it, the DEATH card was there. ****** was my first thought, I then spent ages reading up on internet how it “rarely” means actual death of you or a person you love, more that a big change is coming! Something is dying in your life and a new beginning is coming. It was a bit reassuring, but not allot!! So at the weekend before THE Wednesday I was by the seaside and decided I needed more reassurance and so went to see a “professional” tarot reader. He did the reading and I got no feeling of love or anything else good from him. It all felt very dark. Death came up AGAIN and he reassured me that it didn’t mean mine but that a change was coming etc and that there would need to be about 8 other cards present to indicate my actual death. I felt reassured of that but the “wrong” feeling to it all still left me uneasy. So last week there I was sat at my kitchen table again doing a reading to the so called “Angels” cards “the nice cards”, and they were telling me wonderful stuff I felt a real connection with them, and then out the blue I just thought, hold on, this doesn’t feel right, the messages on some of the cards would ask you to pray to these “angels” for help on certain issues etc. And if there angels, why did I have to pass the cards through burning sage as the author of the cards Doreen Virtue advised n the book. She also tells you on some of her cards to knock them with your fist the first time you use them to get rid of any “Lower Energies” how scarry is that! And whats Angelic about that? I dont have to knock my Bible!! Its more like witchcraft!!
So as I was sat there I opened my Bible again and the exact page I opened it at was the message I had been shown from God before: “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God-I say this to your shame.” O my God!!!! How had I forgotten that this happened before??!! I really didn’t want to as I felt so comforted and connected to these Angel cards but I threw them and my unused Tarot Cards away. And I had a book that you open to any page for a message from an Angel that went to. The next morning I woke up OBSESSING about wanting the cards back, I reasoned that maybe it was a coincidence that the page opened just before the reading this time so maybe it was a fluke etc. I needed the cards back, they were my friends the pull was amazing. I dropped to my knees and said a prayer to God and Jesus asking them for help, knowing that I was going to retrieve them from the outside bin. I asked for a clear message of help and direction, I picked up my new Bible I had purchased recently wh
Don’t believe these tarot people that say they are fine and that it’s just films and religions that have given them a bad name. It’s not, and the reason so many people ask the question just like you and worry is because on a deep level they know, you know, I knew, that there is something wrong with it all, but the allure of them gota hold of me and I ignored the truth. I now personally I liken them to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We are shown not to take from them, but we have a choice in that. The cards provide predictions and knowledge of good and evil, some of the cards nice, some of them disturbing bad and evil– i.e. devil, death etc. I hope I’m forgiven for my ignorance.
Sorry guys some of my message was missing, to conclude: I picked up my new Bible I had purchased recently which contains both the Old and New testaments, I had only had a new one before and thought I would give the Old Testament a go. My new Bible has aprox one thousand two hundred pages of small text. The page I opened it and that I looked at first said “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin.” I could not reason this away nor did I seek to, I knew it as the truth, there was no way I was not being spoken to and seriously warned. Even if they were not evil and wrong as God so clearly showed me, they’re a deck of cards that cover all experiences of life. GOOD and the BAD.So even if they were “OK” they claim 2 be telling you the good and the bad coming your way.And I’m telling you it’s no fun when you get a bad prediction, the sense of dread and fear is awful
I have no excuse now though so I will not go there again and don’t want to!! I’m sure the Devil or the dark forces, fallen angels etc that are not of God and Jesus will not like this post and so those under their influence will seek to criticize. Maybe my experience will tell some of them what they already know and give them the strength to come back to God. Whatever your concept of God is, sit quietly and trust your heart on these things as this is where he speaks to us, listen and trust that warning you will hear, Hope this helps someone not experience what I did, it was terrible. God Bless, Mark

Holy wall of text. Tarot cards are usually put in context with pagan beliefs, rituals, etc etc. It sounds to me personally that you’re a hardcore religious person. I dont think they’re bad, im an open person but if you’re really that religious just leave them alone. Its not like satan is trying to draw you back to the tarot cards, i think its just your curiousity doing the work here.

free angel card reading

how, should I start my story?
i have an idea for writing a book but i don’t know how to start it. can you guys give me a little help?

here’s my idea basically, it will be set in Detroit, MI which is the 4th most crime ridden city in the U.S. and i kinda like the idea of it being told through the main character’s perspective sort of like the show Dexter the main character starts out as like this really depressed cop who’s really devoted to his job and his wife whom he loved very much left him because he was getting high (i was thinking like cocaine and LSD or something like that) and drunk a lot and not the nice drunk. around the same time that his wife leaves him at work the department start tracking a serial killer who kills only criminals which he finds intriguing. as the story progresses the main character seems to be losing his grip on reality (paranoid thoughts about co-workers, delusions/hallucinations) this will be connected to his drug use and he will also be fired or suspended, or forced to take a leave of absence (haven’t decided yet) because of it but by this time he has become obsessed with the case so he steals the copy of the case files that were given to him before hand then starts working on it on his own. as the story progresses further he find that he and the killer have similar psychological patterns but refuses to believe that he is the killer but as the case unfolds more and more evidence points to him.

but I’m not exactly, sure if i want to pull something like the movie Angel Heart (Dr. Jakell and Mr Hyde complex) or if i want to pull something like were the killer is trying to use this unhinged cop as a get out of jail free card. but either why i want the audience too be unsure as well. if you guys can help me out on this as well then that would be great or if you guys come up with a different idea that you think will be better then please feel free to tell me.

looking forward to reading your guys responses

Suggestion by agilebrit
Start with his wife leaving. That’s where everything changes for him and throws us face-first into the conflict–especially if she reappears throughout the story. Either that, or open on a crime scene, maybe the second or third one, where they start thinking “Um. We may have a serial here.” It depends on how much of a part the wife has. If it’s big, start with her; if not, crime scene.

What would be fun would be to play with an “unreliable narrator” scenario, where it’s told in first person, and he’s doubting himself and starting to question his own sanity.

The link above by ‘Ralph,’ while showing extremely inexpensive prices for her books, is not “free.”

I tried a link to her http://www.katmartinbooks.com (without ‘books’ it was just a domain) and it lead only to Google and many more places to buy her books.

Any other links you may be given here are illegal, you know.
Her books are under copyright since she is a working author.

You would be much better off finding them at a library near you. Call ahead. Be smart.
Support your favorite author or/and at least use a library.

Suggestion by redunicorn
There is no free and legal place to read that online. Kat Martin isn’t giving it away for free. She writes to make a living.

Any site that has it for free is stealing. The person responsible for that web site could earn possible jail time and fines of up to $ 150,000.

Does this help you understand Catholicism?

Does this help you understand Catholicism?
I have read, with great sadness, many misconceptions about Catholicism on this site. I worry that many people, who call themselves Christain, have been mislead about the Catholic faith and what it teaches. I am very tolerant of other beliefs and I seek to understand them. To let you know, I am an avid reader and studier of the Bible, including its ancient languages. I have studied Christian history extensively from only the most authoritative of sources. I have put together a list of misconceptions about the Catholic Church. Please let me know if this is helpfull to you.

The top 10 most common misconceptions of the Catholic Church are:

1. Catholics worship Mary. No, we pray to Mary for her intercession, just as you would ask a friend or family member to pray for you. The traditional “Hail Mary” prayer recited by Catholics is a mirror of the words spoken by the Angel Gabriel in the first chapter of Luke.

2. Catholics think works get them to heaven. No, we believe, as it says in the Book of James, that faith without works is empty. We further believe that we are saved by the death and resurrection of Jesus and that He paid the debt for our sins. Our good works show that our faith has merit.

3. Catholics worship the Pope. No, we believe that the Pope is a human being, capable of sin, just like all the rest of us. We do believe that he is the successor of St Peter on earth as it says in the Gospel of Matthew and that when he speaks from the Chair of Peter, on a matter of faith or morals, he speaks without error. As a matter of point, Pope Benedict has never done this.

4. Catholics pay to get their loved ones out of purgatory. No, we ask that masses be said for our dead loved ones just as St Paul reminds us to pray for the living and the dead. A small donation ($ 5) might be made to pay for the card that we then send to the family to let them know that a mass was said in honor of the deceased.

5. Catholics do not read the Bible. Yes, we do. John Paul II declared the year 2000, the Year of the Bible, and Catholics around the world read the entire Bible during that year. Virtually all Catholic Church’s have a bible study program. At every Sunday Mass, there are three readings from the Bible. Catholics are required to attend Sunday and thereby hear the Word of the God.

6. Catholics think the Sacraments get them to heaven. No, we believe that only the death and resurrection of Jesus get us to heaven. We believe the Sacraments, such as the Eucharist Jesus instituted at the Last Supper, give us grace to help us follow God’s will for us.

7. Catholics belong to a cult. No, our church has been around for 2000 years, much longer than any other Christian church. The first Protestants didn’t show up until 1450. At more than one billion members, the Catholic Church is the single largest Christian denomination. Many people join and some (sadly) leave the Catholic Church every day of their own free will.

8. Catholics don’t baptize. Yes, we do and our Church started baptism. Whether a person is immersed or sprinkled is a man-made technicality. It cannot be believed that Jesus would condemn someone to hell for all eternity because of the rite of Baptism they received. There are countless historical Christian texts, of reliable authorship, that speak of sprinkling in the very early Christian Church.

9. Catholics are not Christians. Yes, we are and we profess with our lips and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, the Messiah, the Son of God come down from heaven to save men from their sins. We pray the Apostles Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus name is mentioned in some form more than 50 times at every Sunday mass. We strive to follow the two great commandments of Jesus to love God with our whole heart and our neighbor as ourselves.

10. Catholics have a different Bible. No, we have the Bible approved by the Universal Christian Church since the year 380. Protestants took several books out of the Bible during the reformation in the late 1400s. Martin Luther even took the Book of James and Revelation out of the Bible as well, before they were restored. The Catholic Bible has been the most consistent of all translations for more than 1600 years.

dartheric…,
I tell you what. It’s jacuzzi time, and I will return to respond to your question. I will be fair, but I will also be truthful.

EDIT: I have returned to reply to your statements.
I am very tolerant of other beliefs and I seek to understand them.
I too am tolerant of other peoples beliefs. But I try not to do it to a fault. Christianity is from God. His love for us, we have by definition responded to it. His message is Grace through faith, and we are to trust Him to be the God that lives up to His promises. He does not lie. We can count on Him to fulfill His promises, every one that He uttered.

“1. Catholics worship Mary. No, we pray to Mary for her intercession, just as you would ask a friend or family member to pray for you. The traditional “Hail Mary” prayer recited by Catholics is a mirror of the words spoken by the Angel Gabriel in the first chapter of Luke.”
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

In these statements, all said by Jesus the Christ, He wanted us to have faith in God to fulfill it. These words are truth. He didn’t want us to doubt God, as if He were hard of hearing, or was too busy to come to our aid, or that He couldn’t do something.

Matthew 6 has ways to worship God, that is, to worship Him in truth.
They are:

giving to God (Matthew 6:1), and there would be reward from the Father (Matthew 6:4)
both through offerings (G1343 dikaiosune), and giving to the poor (G1654 eleemosune)

Prayer to the FATHER (Matthew 6:5), which He ALREADY knows what you need before you even ask (Matthew 6:8)

and Fasting (Matthew 6:16)
Our trust is to be in Him, not any other, for God is more than capable of fulfilling His promises, and does not need anything, another intercessor included, as I have shown here.

“2. Catholics think works get them to heaven. No, we believe, as it says in the Book of James, that faith without works is empty. We further believe that we are saved by the death and resurrection of Jesus and that He paid the debt for our sins. Our good works show that our faith has merit.”
You have to know that it depends on the Roman Catholic that you talk to. There have been many that I have talked to taht are convinced that they must be good in order to get to heaven. Nothing that I could say to them would bring them to know the truth. Probably not your fault, but then again, your rituals have their attention, instead of the word of God.

“3. As a matter of point, Pope Benedict has never done this.”
I have never heard anyone say that the Roman Catholics worship the Pope. I have seen the connotation, especially the first time Pope John Paul II came to the USA. But not the accusation.
You do what you want with Peter and the succession, as if you needed any permission from the likes of me. lol

“4. Catholics pay to get their loved ones out of purgatory. No, we ask that masses be said for our dead loved ones just as St Paul reminds us to pray for the living and the dead. A small donation ($ 5) might be made to pay for the card that we then send to the family to let them know that a mass was said in honor of the deceased.”
Is that 1 Corinthians 3:14? That is far fetched as well, isn’t it?
1 Corinthians 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

He’s talking about what people build their faith on. And the fire we will all be tested with, for the works that we ourselves do of our own accord are burned away, and those that God inspired us to do are eternal. It has nothing to do with purgatory.

I know that a part of one of the Esdras books was omitted by your church, the one that denied that there was a purgatory. Why delete it, if the doctrine was so strong? That’s the point, isn’t it? That the doctrine was not strong. That speculation is so much a part of the desire to hold it, because of the traditions from before Christianity? hmmm.
According to this site, there is a lot of speculation:
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/04653a.htm

“5. Catholics are required to attend Sunday and thereby hear the Word of the God.”
We get Atheist quoting the Bible here. And they don’t understand what it says. They do not have the Spirit of God to guide them. As you can see, I am busy writing refutations to you. Perhaps the Belief in Christ that Roman Catholic’s have does not include the Spirit of God? That ritual and tradition have taken the place of the God manifestation of understanding? I ask because I want to be kind!

“6. Catholics think the Sacraments get them to heaven. No, we believe that only the death and resurrection of Jesus get us to heaven. We believe the Sacraments, such as the Eucharist Jesus instituted at the Last Supper, give us grace to help us follow God’s will for us.”
I would correct you sir. Out of respect for you. I think that you may have slipped on your wording. By faith Jesus was Resurrected, and by faith we are Resurrected. Grace comes from God because of faith. Pistis, Pisteuo, Pisteo, these words represent our connection to God’s promises. And without it all of God’s grace is denied us.

“7. Catholics belong to a cult. No, our church has been around for 2000 years, much longer than any other Christian church. The first Protestants didn’t show up until 1450. At more than one billion members, the Catholic Church is the single largest Christian denomination. Many people join and some (sadly) leave the Catholic Church every day of their own free will.”
Protestants came around due to the opposition of the Roman Catholics Iquisition. Actually I could have misstated that. It came around because people that did NOT want to worship Mary, as in the aforementioned prayer, and had their Bibles to show them the error of the State Churche’s ways. The Persecutions started long before this, in the Waldenses.
*************************************************************
By the year of Christ 1140, the number of the reformed was very great, and the probability of its increasing alarmed the pope, who wrote to several princes to banish them from their dominions, and employed many learned men to write against their doctrines.

In A.D. 1147, because of Henry of Toulouse, deemed their most eminent preacher, they were called Henericians; and as they would not admit of any proofs relative to religion, but what could be deduced from the Scriptures themselves, the popish party gave them the name of apostolics. At length, Peter Waldo, or Valdo, a native of Lyons, eminent for his piety and learning, became a strenuous opposer of popery; and from him the reformed, at that time, received the appellation of Waldenses or Waldoys.

Pope Alexander III being informed by the bishop of Lyons of these transactions, excommunicated Waldo and his adherents, and commanded the bishop to exterminate them, if possible, from the face of the earth; hence began the papal persecutions against the Waldenses.
– John Fox’s Book of Martyrs
****************************************************************
So there were many names sir, by which those that were in Christ, but not of the Roman Catholic Church were merely eliminated from the face of the Earth by the ‘STATE CHURCH.’
The name Protestant was fortunate enough to have survived the torturous death supplied to their predecessors. I do prefer ‘Reformed’, now that I think of it. For it is the Reformed church more akin to that church Paul had formed after Christ.

“8. Catholics don’t baptize. Yes, we do and our Church started baptism. Whether a person is immersed or sprinkled is a man-made technicality. It cannot be believed that Jesus would condemn someone to hell for all eternity because of the rite of Baptism they received. There are countless historical Christian texts, of reliable authorship, that speak of sprinkling in the very early Christian Church.”
I would agree. But I do prefer the good ol’ dunking!

“9. We strive to follow the two great commandments of Jesus to love God with our whole heart and our neighbor as ourselves.”
By the standards of Jesus the Christ, if you trust God, you are saved. I have NO DOUBT that there are some saved Roman Catholics. No doubt whatsoever.
Sir, I do have to report to you, in case you didn’t know; that many come out of Mass thinking they did right just by showing up that day. They do not have the joy of Jesus in their hearts. They act as if going to church proved their righteousness. I have to believe that it would NOT break with the all important traditions to stike them with a message of works that kill the soul. The ones that decieve people into thinking that they have to go to church to be saved, but rather, they must love God, not the pictures of Him, not the crucifix, but Him!

“10. Catholics have a different Bible. No, we have the Bible approved by the Universal Christian Church since the year 380. Protestants took several books out of the Bible during the reformation in the late 1400s. Martin Luther even took the Book of James and Revelation out of the Bible as well, before they were restored. The Catholic Bible has been the most consistent of all translations for more than 1600 years.”
As I have stated before, the Protestants, mainly the infamous Puritans, had the Apocrypha taken out of the scriptures, and I think that God used that circumstance anyway, but the RCC also took out a part of the Apocrypha that didn’t go along with the Doctrine of Purgatory. It doesn’t make either one right. Martin Luther has little to do with most Protestant churches that I have been to. I like the man for what he did, and I like some of the things that he said, but he kept some of the RCC doctrine that I detest the most. In effect, alienating me by his religious observances, in some cases.

I am done with this. i couldn’t just pass this off, because there are some problems between scriptures and the RCC. Some RC’s even come on here trying to forward the notion that the RCC hasn’t changed in all these years. I have to remind them of the long, long ways of the Popes of the Inquisitions, that were extremely murderous.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity.

For comedy, I suggest…
Gintama. Set in an alternate universe where in the Edo Period of Japan, aliens invaded. The main character’s a samurai who runs an Odd Jobs place with two other people.

Sket Dance: A school setting. The main characters run a club called the ‘Sket Dan’ where they help people with basically anything. The main character has the amazing power to… concentrate very hard.

Hayate the Combat Butler: the main character (Hayate) gets a VERY large debt from his parents. They want him to sell his organs to pay it off. But Hayate doesn’t want that. So, he goes to work for a rich girl instead.

For battle manga… (like Naruto, Bleach, etc…)

The Law of Ueki: The god is holding a contest to see who is going to become the new god. But this contest isn’t going to be done between candidates- it’s going to be done between middle school students who each get a special power to battle it out. But the main character gets the power to turn trash into trees.

MAR: Marchen Awakens Romance: The main character goes into an alternate universe where he starts fighting people. Typical battle story, but still interesting.

I also recommend:

Bakuman: A manga about people writing manga. Written by the authors of Death Note. For that matter, I recommend Death Note.

Tarot Cards vs. What some consider “Demonic” or “Devil’s Work”. Why is a Tarot reading considered so bad?
There was a question on here before like this, but I wanted to see for myself what was up with it.

Why is Tarot so frowned upon in most religions? There’s nothing demonic about it. Sure, there is a card in the Major Arcana called “The Devil”, but it simply represents temptation or mistakes and fixing mistakes. Even the Death card actually represents new beginnings. Tarot is commonly used as a Spiritual Insight. Not a trick into luring people into some kind of cult or a way to disrespect whatever god you believe in.

Tarot cards are NOT demonic in any way. You may call them sorcery or witchcraft, but they’re nothing evil. They’re one way to channel your will into an object to receive an answer, so to speak. Whatever higher being out there, whether it be your god, or the universe itself, will bring an answer within this reading.

Tarot cards are good fun and give people something to think about. It helps answer little questions but isn’t always solid. I give tarot readings all the time to people for fun, and everyone I give them to enjoys learning what each card I draw for them means. If I was being demonic, I’d be telling to give themselves to Satan or something stupid like that, but I don’t. Tarot is for fun, or even seriously, and is used to provide answers for certain people. If you don’t like it, don’t get a tarot reading. Simple as that.

Who are YOU to say your god frowns upon this kind of thing? The true god or Savior would be merciful and understanding. He wouldn’t mind what anyone does, as long as it makes them comfortable or happy.

There’s even an alternative to Tarot cards: Angel Cards.

Angel cards always give a positive reading and are great for people who dislike Tarot, but like the idea of a card reading. Would you call these occult or demonic too? Even if the person who created it says the Angel Cards are used as messages from god’s messengers themselves? If so, why?

I saw someone answer “Tarot didn’t come around till the 15th century, long after the Bible was written.” and someone else say “no where in the bible, old or new Testament is anything said about Tarot readings, except in a very general way when God tells Solomon he should listen to the ‘witch of Endor’ who apparently did some divination readings for him.” (If you recognize this answer as your own, pardon me for using them as examples. If you’d like, I’ll give credit to you in the Additional Info)

Please feel free to give your insight. I’d love to see what Pagans and Wiccans have to say, too. Lay it on me. I’ll reply to individual answers though the additional info.
I WANT LONG DETAILED ANSWERS!

Nothing short and stupid please. I actually want to hear you answer each individual question and share your opinion in DETAIL.

It pisses me off when people just do something short and then retreat.

Can’t anyone just answer a question in it’s entirety anymore…?
To corinthians:

Naughty, naughty. Spam is a no-no.
To P!xii:

This is exactly what I believe. My cousin is a Wiccan and her ex used to call her a Devil Worshipper, and I’ve been called the same because of a pentacle necklace with a moonstone on it.

I think people fear and critisize that which they feel is too estranged from their own beleifs. Just because it is different doesn’t make it wrong.

Thank you for a lovely answer. 🙂
To Palindromic:

Oh so Satan came up to you one day and said “Hey. Divination is a tool of mine. Pass it on.”

Or your god speak to you saying “Dear Child of mine, divination is the tool of Satan. Pass it on.”

Maybe Jesus came up to you and said “Yo. Divination is the tool of Satan. Pass it on, bro.”

Unless you have something to back up WHY Divination is the tool of Satan, you’re just wasting your time here.
To birdsflies:

Please enlighten me! What is this crazy witch craft you speak of???

Oh please. You don’t know a thing about Wicca. If you did, you’d see it has nothing to do with demonic things. Do a little research on the matter. Jeez. I don’t see you reading a crap load of Wicca books and going “YUP ITZ DA WERK UV DA DAVEL. SATIN EEZ DEFFERS PREZINT OVER MYAH.”

Research eliminates ignorance.
To AMGD:

Can you give me a reason WHY? Kthnx.

To Tapestry6:

Well, when does your god say it’s not work of his? Maybe god is trying to pass some kind of subliminal message through these readings? Also, tell me, who do you know that wished they had never touched those cards? Which cards do you mean?

Also how do you know it’s no work of your god? Did he tell you? Did you read it? Did you see a demon from the spirit world come and say… “WAZZAP?!?! I hear someone did a kind of reading that opened a portal into the realm of spirits! Were’s the party at bro???”
To The voice of semi-reason ™:

You make an interesting point. But when one prays, don’t we ask god out of out own selfishness for an answer? We do not get one this way. Tarot does.

How do you know what I am channeling? Tarot was made with the a purpose of seeking help, just like a prayer would. Unless some demon came up to you and said “Hey I heard someone did a Tarot reading.” then I’ll beleive its for the worst.

Most of the Tarot readings I do have a positive outcome for people. I did one for me once, and some was good, some was bad, but I took it in stride. The good stuff happened, the bad stuff happened, but it all happened for the better.

How do you know what I am doing opens a gate of things that are bad? Maybe they’re good. So far it seems like it. If you put enough emotion into it, it is. It’s called effort, and it even counts in little things.

Listen, you do a little more research into what Wicca, Paganism, Magick and The Craft are, and then get back to me.
To Cherokee:

How can I believe that if you don’t even tell me about that experience??? I’ve never had one like that was negative. All of mine have been positive. Maybe you were just doing it wrong, although everyone has their own way for going about things. Perhaps something you did gave you that negative experience? If there was one in the first place.

Also, naw I’m pretty sure it was the Big Bang and Evolution that did all that… Yay Science!

They are fake, period

Suggestion by azn m0n
pagans rituals were heavily frowned upon by major religions and Anything they did they were deemed satanic or demonic. it still goes on today and it’s not backed up by anything so it’s a social activity in the same range as the Ouija board

Suggestion by you just been clowned
Just another porthole to the spirit world, where you invite demons…and demons aren’t too nice, even to unbelievers (why? Because humans remind then of Jesus).
