what does the meaning of the hanged Man tarot card mean in this reading.?
I did a Celtic cross spread. (I will make this short as possible) My present card is a Queen of pentacles, my past card is The Chariot. My sixth position (immediate situation card is Temperance. Lastly my final outcome card is the Hanged Man.

I had an argument with a Buddy’s of mines cousin whom I will honestly say, she was being very disrespectful and aggressive towards me. I was only defending myself when I had to stand my ground. I’m suppose to be at my Buddy’s baby shower Saturday and I did a reading to see if the air has cleared. This is a joyous event and I know the cousin will be there and I just don’t want anymore drama. The hanged Man kinda concerns me because i know it represent letting go but doesn’t it also represent a coming battle?

P.S I received two Aces. Ace of Swords in the fifth Position, Ace of Pentacles in what is crossing me, Two of Cups in my Seventh position. The rest I can’t remember. Any help would be appreciated.

Nothing, the way cards fall have nothing to do with your fate. Unless of course you are gambling for money, then it could be good or bad depending on if you are winning or not.

Take up contract bridge. At least it has some logic and reason to it.

What does Justice Tarot Card Mean in Regards to Relationships?
Always get the Justice. Sometimes Death and Tower plus some positive cards (like the sun, nine of cups). Confusing.

Question is in regards to my marriage

Suggestion by George
Justice would suggest going to court and with Death and The Tower an unexpected ending.
An ending is also indicated by the 9 as in numerology 9 is the number of endings.
I suspect you posted this question hoping for a more up beat interpretation as you probably already know this. Sorry. The Sun is very good card but it’s all Fire, no Water (love & emotions).

Check your numerology for this year.
If your partner is having a 9 personal year (or you) this could also indicate an ending this year.
A 5 year for either of you is also a year of unexpected change.

Before the Magician took its place in the Tarot decks, what Major Arcana card was number one?

I never use wiki for a source. Too many errors.

Suggestion by down with gdi!
you’ve just given me the compulsion to investigate tarot properly, thanks.

Even if divination is forbidden by christianity. heh.

Suggestion by Reverend Loki
I’m not sure there is an easy, definitive answer to your question. In fact, the Magician isn’t always number one in modern decks.

I highly recommend you read the Wikipedia article on Tarot as a starting point. Afterwards, be sure to check the links at the bottom of that article.

Suggestion by philosophyangel
the cards weren’t always necessarily numbered and some Tarot decks had more cards in them than others. The second card in the earliest surviving Tarot decks (eg, Visconti Sforza) was the Mountebank. This card also was sometimes called in some early decks The Juggler. It then became the Magician. Although cards were used for fortune telling from early times, the Tarot was not primarily used for fortune telling or occult studies until about the 18th century when French esotericists found new meaning and use for a deck of cards called Triomfi (Trumps) or Tarocchi or Tarot, that were used since at least the 14th century to play a game similar to Bridge.

Pagan related… What is a cool tarot card deck ?
I’m looking at paganism, and I’m interested in cool tarot card decks like: mystical creatures, (angels and demons), aliens.. Etc

Do you know of any decks that sound similar to what I like?

Suggestion by WiccaTeen
your most likely gonna want a basi deck to start off with, some that have the meanings on them that way you can learn the meaning and progress to a standard deck, if your looking down the pagan deck i would use a nature based deck.

Suggestion by â„’’amour est â„’e chaos
Tarot is related to occultism and divination tools, not so much paganism

I like the Robin Wood deck personally

What is your favorite Tarot card deck to use for divination?

Suggestion by believer_in_jesus37421
Dear Emily,

Have you ever asked yourself why you find things like this so fascinating? The reason, I suspect, is because down inside you feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.

But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.

My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it’s easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.

Don’t be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists … should not a people inquire of their God?” (Isaiah 8:19).

Depends on the day. Current favorite is the Hoi Polloi, a RWS clone. I also find myself picking up decks with unillustrated pips.

tarot card meaning

A one card Tarot reading meaning, is it a straight yes or no?.
I have my theory test later today, i asked will i pass my theory test today, i picked only 1 card which was the knight of wands.

thank you

Suggestion by Richard H
Yes/No answers from tarot generally come on the point on whether you take the card upside down or right side up… In this case you didn’t so the card you pulled meaning is relevant to the issue.

The meaning from my own researches is that the Knight of wands having something to do with confidence, mastery, realisation and risk taking.

Perhaps you can take that as having confidence in yourself and your knowledge about driving, employing what you have practiced and mastered.

My researches are currently in pendulum divination, it gives yes and no answers. I have asked whether “This person with whom I am discussing with on the internet going to pass her driving theory test later today”

Took a few minutes to lock in as it was not doing very much but it eventually did circles for me, which means that you are, which is one of the few times it has done something for someone I don’t know.

Still time and divination does not mean destiny. With your card and divination, it says be confident, be calm when entering your test and you will be successful.

Good luck.

what does the wild horse tarot card mean?
my friend read my cards and the third one was the wild horse but she didnt know what it ment.

Suggestion by Lilly
I don’t read tarot, but I do have oracle cards. For my oracle cards, the wild horse is a sign of freedom, learning to ask for help when needed, and leadership.

Suggestion by Spider man
it means Moses ate all that garbage long time ago and you need serious help when you get into the spirit world as they live 1000 years each and will haunt your ever generation to come when you play with black magic that is only an ilussion into your sins.

Suggestion by bad tim, dance the maypole
there is no wild horse tarot card. there’s death on a horse, which means transformation, and there’s a child on a horse on the sun card, which signifies light and mastery of the outer world.

there are also court cards with horses, but you’d have to specify which of these you’re talking about. the knight of swords represents being headstrong, and the knight of wands represents false appearances.

tho, interpretations may vary.

edit: also, a single card in a spread is affected by the cards around it, so the individual meaning of the card is useless without seeing its context.

Can anyone tell me the meaning of this tarot card spread for me?
well guys i did a spread about a person i really care for, i love him so much but he only sees me as a friend and i accept that but i believe in the saying “que sera sera” what will be, will be. and i got curious and did a spread with that saying and him in mind and i got

Knight of Swords
Queen of Swords
The stars

can someone please interpret that in detail thanks 🙂
