help to interprate this tarot card reading?
i had a tarot card reading ( for past, present and future) it was a three card spread and the 1st card was two of swords, the second was the wheel of fortune and the last was the emperor.
The tarot card reader did interprate them very in depth, but what is the basic meaning/ interpretation of these cards.
Suggestion by Chipmunk Without knowing the question it is absolutely impossible to know for sure where the cards were heading in point of meaning. Most likely scenario:-
being in a difficult spot, having to make choices which weigh in your favour at best to find a practical solution to the issue.
However, as I say, a question can change everything.
Can someone point me in the right direction with tarot card reading…?
I just recently purchased a deck of tarot cards for myself, before I even did my first reading I looked at each card individually and really took time to see it. I then did the celtic cross layout. Everything seemed spot on but I was just wondering what website there are to explain each card a little more in depth then the little paper book that came with it. Other layouts and any other information would be greatly appreciated.
Suggestion by Dahlia A I found these websites to be useful:
You can also join the forum at aeclectic.net to talk tarot with a number of people.
Suggestion by Rev. Lynn D. I would suggest several websites. Google ” Tarot Card Meanings” When I was learning, I had private lessons but I also bought several books and found that I got something a little different from each of the books. Meanings can vary.
Whatever meanings you decide on, spirit will work with what the card means to you, so you don’t have to be concerned that there is any right meaning for a card.
Remember that each card has multiple meanings and it is the psychic message that counts. If you aren’t getting that, your accuracy rate will be about 20%. To develop your psychic ability, meditate daily.
What does page of pentacles mean in a tarot card reading?
This continously appears in my reading.
Suggestion by Just Plain Bob do you have a book on Tarot Cards? Look it up.
Suggestion by George First of all look at the imagery and see if anything stands out.
Just say out aloud what you see in the picture of the page of pentacles card you have.
Often doing this can trigger something inside of you.
If that doesn’t work for you then you have to fall back on the learned meanings which can be ambiguous.
Page’s are messengers. You may be about to receive a communication regarding money or material wealth.
Page’s are the children in the Tarot court cards. A pentacles child would be a stubborn, studious and perhaps very computer literate child.
It could also be a childish material pursuit, something fun or frivolous. Spending money on a day out at a fair ground, on toys etc.

Looking for a new Tarot deck?
Currently, my main deck is Maxwell Miller’s Universal Tarot, and I recently picked up the Thoth deck and have been using that a lot. (I also have the Dragon Tarot and the Runic Tarot.) However…I’m looking for a very traditional-type deck with older-looking illustrations. I don’t want Rider-Waite (never liked it for some reason), and preferably as few words as possible on the cards–even omission of card names would be fine. Any suggestions?
Suggestion by Tirya Check out aeclectic.net for tons of decks, with illustrations.
Robin Wood might be worth looking into for you.
Suggestion by swolfshields native american tarot deck
Suggestion by the holy zero Currently, the only accurate books of Tarot are the book of Thoth and the Golden Dawn… Unless there are others that have the numbers right that I don’t know about… There are differences in symbolism as well… I highly suggest the two I listed. There are some great literatures for understanding the Book as well as Qabalistic coorespondences…
Blog: sycalaelen.wordpress.com The other deck is an Illustrated Deck, the Story Telling Deck is great for beginner’s and intermediate readers. BB x Book by Nevill Drury.
Would it be a bad idea to start playing with an Ouija board or Tarot cards?
My preoccupation with the future has led me to this question. Christians say those are tools of the devil. Is it evil to go searching for the future?
Suggestion by Saint Onle In the sense that you are wasting your money on useless crap … yes.
Suggestion by Corey No, it’s not evil. But if you’re trying to get predictions of the future, it will be a waste of time. Ouija board, at best, just let’s you find out what your subconscious mind is thinking, if you’re unable to figure it out on your own. Tarot, at best, is a catalyst to think about a question in a new way.
Suggestion by I’m on a mission from God I wouldn’t only because you’ll be wasting time and money, and most likely feel pretty stupid afterwards.
Nothing will happen.
What do these 3 tarot cards mean together?
I was doing a reading about a relationship regarding how someone feels about me, and it was supposed to be only one card but these 3 jumped out… The star, the empress, and then the five of wands. Thanks for your help 🙂
Suggestion by Tea The Star card says that you probably already have a good idea about how this person feels about you…it’s staring you right in the face. Your gut feeling is right.
The Empress suggests that this person finds you very attractive and/or charming.
However, the 5 of Wands indicates that this person may think you can be a little difficult or confrontational sometimes.
How to read tarot cards?
I’m learning how to read tarot cards. Tarot cards have different meanings if they’re placed right side up or reversed. If you’re giving a tarot reading to someone else, is the “reversed” card meaning it’s reversed for the person you’re reading it to, or is it reversed when you see it?
Suggestion by Liberal Asskickers Nightmare Oh that’s a real toughy, that is.
Suggestion by CC When the reader accepts the deck that has been shuffled by the questioner, the reader makes sure to maintain the correct orientation of the deck so as to properly read the “reversed” cards, as they would appear “reversed” to the questioner.
Suggestion by moddy almondy Reversed = opposite meaning.
Do you know a lot about Tarot Cards?

Suggestion by PaulCyp I know enough not to seek answers to important life issues in a stack of cardboard.
Suggestion by Lucinda S I don’t know. I have the medival Scapini, maybe its in that.
What is a good Oracle deck to begin with i feel like Tarot cards are to advanced and dangerous for me.?
I have a Rider Waite Tarot deck but i feel its to much to temper with for my first deck i got advice to get a Oracle deck but i don’t know which one to start out with please help and thank you in advance
Suggestion by jesuslover You know what you should do with those cards? Throw them out! Those are demonic and you get your “advice” from the devil
Suggestion by Lori G Personally, I feel the RW Deck is excellent for beginners and I can’t see how they would be too advanced and dangerous. There are also lots of Tarot deck with themes such as fairies, angels and all sorts of other similar ideas.
The Psychic Tarot Oracle deck is a sort of bridge between the two and worth looking at.
Have a look here for a good selection of pictures
Hope this helps.
Suggestion by SadharaSatguru Hello Juan
Tarot card & Oracle cards work in the same way, via your subconscious – & neither are dangerous.

I did a tarot reading for 2012 and got the following cards?
I asked what is coming up for me in 2012 in a four card spread (one at the base and three over it) and got the following cards: Death at the base with the Prince of Pentacles, the Ace of Pentacles and the 10 of Pentacles over it. How would you interpret this? Thanks!
Suggestion by Courtney Spirit Creatures—How They Affect Us
Do angels help people?
How have wicked spirits influenced humans?
Do we need to fear wicked spirits?
GETTING to know a person usually involves learning something about his family. Similarly, getting to know Jehovah God includes becoming better acquainted with his angelic family. The Bible calls the angels “sons of God.” (Job 38:7) So, what is their place in God’s purpose? Have they played a role in human history? Do angels affect your life? If so, how?
2 The Bible refers to angels hundreds of times. Let us consider a few of these references to learn more about angels. Where did angels come from? Colossians 1:16 says: “By means of him [Jesus Christ] all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth.” Hence, all the spirit creatures called angels were individually created by Jehovah God through his firstborn Son. How many angels are there? The Bible indicates that hundreds of millions of angels were created, and all of them are powerful.—Psalm 103:20.*
3 God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that when the earth was founded, “all the sons of God began shouting in applause.” (Job 38:4-7) Angels thus existed long before humans were created, even before the creation of the earth. This Bible passage also shows that angels have feelings, for it says that they “joyfully cried out together.” Note that “all the sons of God” rejoiced together. At that time, all the angels were part of a united family serving Jehovah God.
ANGELIC SUPPORT AND PROTECTION
“My own God sent his angel and shut the mouth of the lions.”—Daniel 6:22
4 Ever since they witnessed the creation of the first humans, faithful spirit creatures have shown keen interest in the growing human family and in the outworking of God’s purpose. (Proverbs 8:30, 31; 1 Peter 1:11, 12) With the passing of time, however, the angels observed that most of the human family turned away from serving their loving Creator. No doubt this saddened the faithful angels. On the other hand, whenever even one human returns to Jehovah, “joy arises among the angels.” (Luke 15:10) Since angels have such deep concern for the welfare of those who serve God, it is no wonder that Jehovah has repeatedly used angels to strengthen and protect his faithful servants on earth. (Hebrews 1:7, 14) Consider some examples.
5 Two angels helped the righteous man Lot and his daughters to survive the destruction of the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by leading them out of that area. (Genesis 19:15, 16) Centuries later, the prophet Daniel was thrown into a lions’ pit, but he escaped harm and said: “My own God sent his angel and shut the mouth of the lions.” (Daniel 6:22) In the first century C.E., an angel freed the apostle Peter from prison. (Acts 12:6-11) Moreover, angels supported Jesus at the start of his earthly ministry. (Mark 1:13) And shortly before Jesus’ death, an angel appeared to Jesus and “strengthened him.” (Luke 22:43) What a comfort that must have been for Jesus at those very important times in his life!
6 Today, angels no longer appear visibly to God’s people on earth. Although invisible to human eyes, God’s powerful angels still protect his people, especially from anything spiritually harmful. The Bible says: “The angel of Jehovah is camping all around those fearing him, and he rescues them.” (Psalm 34:7) Why should those words be of great comfort to us? Because there are dangerous wicked spirit creatures who want to destroy us! Who are they? Where do they come from? How are they trying to harm us? To find out, let us briefly consider something that happened at the start of human history.
SPIRIT CREATURES WHO ARE OUR ENEMIES
7 As we learned in Chapter 3 of this book, one of the angels developed a desire to rule over others and thus turned against God. Later this angel became known as Satan the Devil. (Revelation 12:9) During the 16
Suggestion by Beard of Wisdom You’re incredibly stupid.
Suggestion by Patrick Although I am a believer in future telling and the supernatural, I do not believe in Tarot cards and neither should you. A person can literally interpret that as anything, it is all interpretation, which is why Christianity is such a huge mess….
Celtic Cross Spread Tarot Help?
I am not sure how to inturp this as I am a little rusty at tarot. The question I had wanted to be answered was if my husband would be getting out of prison. He had been in for 2 years for something he had done to me and is due out any time but for sure next april 2012. We have worked things out and always loved eachother deeply but stress got the best of him and he snapped. He has no prior history of domestic violence and he is doing every right thing while in there (classes and positive things). Just wanted to make the situation a little clearer that I am not one of the women who remain in abusive relationships.
Here is my spread;
card 1: Page of Swords
card 2: Ace of Pentacles
card3: The Chariot
card4: 4 of pentacles
card 5: 9 of pentacles
card 6:The tower
card 7: The Empress
card 8: 5 of swords
card 9: Knight of swords
outcome card: Devil…
Suggestion by Rene O If you want to know your future, read the bible. Those cards will lie.
Suggestion by lhvinny I’m only going to go over a few of the cards that stick out at me as to their meanings in those positions:
The outcome “Devil” indicates that in the end the old will end in order for you to start something new. In this context, I take that to indicate that you may want to end your relationship with this person who has done something to you.
The Chariot clearly shows that you are torn between two choices: stay with him, or let him go.
The Tower in position 6 shows that you feel that the world you know is coming down, but sometimes you need to let go of the old in order to move forward.
Something to think about.
Suggestion by Guru Hank I would fold. You have nothing there to make a betting hand. In addition what with (especially) the tower and the chariot, you run the risk of evoking demons from hell if you try and play it.
