No. I don’t go in the tents on the sea front. They’re for idiot holiday makers who will cross the so called fortune tellers palm with silver, like £10 a throw.

It puts money in to the town anyway I suppose.

No, the few that I have had have been completely wrong. So far, the general M.O. of a psychic, astrologer, palmist, tarot reader, tea leaf reader, or anyone else seeking to take your money for telling your future relies on two things, they have a basic script that 60% or more applicable to most people (seriously, most people are worried about love, money and other common traits), the second is the huge amount of information that you are willing to offer up without thinking about what you are telling them.

Basically, they are all scams, period.

Have any of you had an accurate tarot reading?
Has anyone here ever had a tarot reading that actually came true or displayed some sort of relevance to your actual life?

Suggestion by slamman138
Yes it told me to come to YA to tell you that it was a fraud.

Suggestion by Dave P
Anyone who makes money giving readings of any sort learns to read clues from the client and respond to those with general enough statements (narrowed down based on the client’s responses) that the client goes away happy. As a parlor game, tarot readings can be fun. As a way to guide your life, no.

I’d really like to learn how to read palms, but I’m poor and I can’t afford books and such.
Naturally, I have googled it, but the results were someone extensive, much to sort through.

how to read palms

Is it possible to make myself psychic?
I know this is a crazy question but I really want to know! I hate how my life is so unpredictable and I am never ready for anything and my life is really bad because of that! If you don’t know how I can make myself psychic, then can you please explain how to read palms. Thank you for all of your help!

Suggestion by bradley
Nah. The palms thing was a special trick. Back when people either did manual labor or owned a business and hired workers, you could look at the palm and tell which is which. And if you thought it through, you may be able to tell where each worker worked. Moving crates would leave different marks then blacksmithing. You could impress someone that way.

There’s no way to actually be psychic. There’s no real proof such a thing exists, and if it does, no one has ever discovered a way to make it work.

Suggestion by Caelestis
If you aren’t ready for anything, than instead of trying to predict what will happen and prepare for that one event, prepare yourself for anything . It will make you stronger and more self-confident. Otherwise your just wasting your time, for ex. palm reading is only as good as the zodiac, it is only a generalization. If a person’s hands were fairly rough, you would say they are a hard-working person and work from that.

Edits:
Ayliann, I believe that you cannot give an answer based on a belief if the other person doesn’t believe in your religion. You should ask them what religion they are first before you blabber about biblical references. Also, I would like to note to not follow prophets like sheeps. To put it in your own terms, what if that prophet was given dreams by satin, or that the prophet is a liar who wants attention. You have no way of proving that this prophet is valid or not. Sometimes prophets even rigg events or the seemingly impossible to make you believe, but it’s not.

It is also illogical to be scared of the unknown, such as magic. You shouldn’t fear something just because you don’t understand it, but it is fairly reasonable to be cautious.

Suggestion by tboznchilli
no. those tarot readings are scam. theres no way for a person to foretell the future.

Anybody know someone who reads tarot cards in Phoenix?

Anybody know someone who reads tarot cards in Phoenix?
I’m trying to find somebody who reads tarot cards. I don’t want to stop at one of those places that’s on the side of a main street with a big sign outside. I’ve personally known people who have read my cards. So I’m trying to find someone who can give a recommendation based on personal experience. Not from a phone book.

Do you have to be a certain age to buy tarot cards?
The tarot cards at the book store are lucked up in like a little glass taste and I was wondering if you had to be a certain age to purchse them? I’m 19 btw. And I know its not LGBT, but you guys are the best. =D

Suggestion by Panda
no you don’t have to.. try to do a little research online before you buy them thou so you buy the right one.. some of them are really hard to understand and stuff so just look online for beginners tarot cards

Suggestion by BioHazzard
No, you don’t. (As far as I know)
They’re kept in the glass case, because most people don’t like buying a set that’s been “handled.”
There’s also the increased possibility that if they’re left out, some people may slip one or two out of the pack.
Most stores which carry metaphysical supplies will have display sets that people can look at.

Suggestion by ♥♥ ♀~Chris~♂ ♥♥
No, that’s just to make sure you don’t steal ’em. Naughty, naughty! *wags finger* lol. I agree with the first guy, though- I’ve seen tarot cards for beginners and some for those who can read them better. You could ask someone who works there or poke around online.

Do you think that some people have a more natural ability to read tarot cards than others?
I bought my friend a set of ohsho zen tarot cards, and instead of her being able to use them well, I gave her really accurate readings. She on the other hand, didn’t often give accurate readings.

Suggestion by SingingCrab7
Yes, one’s energy makes a huge difference in reading cards. Many things come in to play when it comes to people’s abilities in giving card readings.

Suggestion by …
no, some people are just better scammers

Does anybody here have psychic or fortune telling abilities?
I would like a FREE reading about my future…

It’s a bonus if you are Christian or Pentecostal… but you don’t have to be… I will accept help from anybody and be grateful to you regardless of your religious or cultural background…

I don’t know where to turn for help… nobody is willing to help me because I am somebody who has no social status, and someone that is often overlooked and ignored by society…

Not a single person stood up for me when I got kicked out two churches this week… not a single person tried to defend me or maintain any kind of contact with me when it happened…

Suggestion by Scourge
No, nobody anywhere does.

Suggestion by Christian
I may be psychic, but I don’t need to use it for this.

You will be kicked out until you can get up a social status. By the way, stop making fun of it.

What can fortune readers tell when they do your Numerology?
My friend is Gypsy and her friend is a fortune teller, she is giving me the Numerology reading for free but I was just wondering what kind of stuff she can find out with it. Can she find stuff out about love, marriage, occupation and how long does a Numerology reading usually take?

Suggestion by ♥♥The Queen Has Spoken♥♥
They don’t “see” anything. It isn’t a real talent or skill.

Suggestion by Gabrielle
Numerology can tell you a lot of things… and if you do your own on the internet it can take a while to read it all, if she or he knows what they’re doing I guess it might take 10 minutes at most?

Suggestion by numerologist
Numerology is a fantastic tool for character analysis. It can be used to reveal your inner power – your strength, weakness, your heart’s desire and all the characters you have within you.Everybody knows that “he who knows himself knows the best.” Your inner personalities to some extent will determine your future. For an example, your married life can be happy only when the characteristics of your partner completely match with your likings and imagination. So your future is not your destiny, you can control it if you know about you. If you know the compatible numbers for your business, job, love or other aspects of your life, you can be happy.
