What kinds of questions can you ask in a tarot card reading?
I am going for a reading next week but I am not sure what I can ask or how to ask for information. What I really want to know is if I will become pregnant anytime in the near future but how do I ask this without it being a yes or no question?

Suggestion by lisa lee
I would not bother with tarot card readings. The way to get pregnant is by having unprotected sex not by having your cards read. Stay away from psychics and the like, its a wrong road to take in your life x

Suggestion by Z
Well, tarot cards are to be taken VERY seriously and to ask it in another way maybe “If I have unprotected sex soon will anything happen?” You have to act as if you plan to have unprotected sex and just go with it.

The tarot (also known as tarocchi, tarock or similar names) is typically a set of seventy-eight cards, composed of twenty-one trump cards, one Fool, and four suits of fourteen cards each—ten pip and four face cards (one more face card per suit than in Anglo-American playing cards).

Tarot cards are used throughout much of Europe to play Tarot card games such as Italian Tarocchini and French Tarot. In English-speaking countries, where the games are largely unknown, Tarot cards are utilized primarily for divinatory purposes, with the trump cards plus the Fool card making up the twenty-two major arcana cards and the pip and four face cards the fifty-six minor arcana. The terms Major Arcana and Minor Arcana are used in occult tarot and are seldom used by card players. The divinatory meanings of the cards are derived mostly from the Kabbalah of Jewish mysticism and from Medieval Alchemy.

what is the difference between a physic reading and a tarot card reading ? Which is better choice ?
or a palm reader ?

Suggestion by POONEY
A crystal ball and a deck of cards. Tarot cards seems better.

Suggestion by “A”
In one the extra sensory perception comes from a deck of cards, the other the perception comes from the person.

Both are a waste of time.

Suggestion by LiveReadings
Tarot readers rely on intuition, skill, experience and the symbols of the tarot cards. Psychic’s listen to voices and often can contact spirits from beyond.

Personally I have found tarot readings to me more accurate. I explain the difference here at these blog posts:

Is it bad to get nothing but pentacles and swords in my tarot card reading?
I had more cards pop up like strength, the sun, Justice and I think I may have gotten the empress; however, every other card that popped up were pentacles and sword cards. Can someone tell me what this means?

Suggestion by DaniNyko the Deinonychus
That your deck is random and not Fixed/rigged

Suggestion by Larry G
Much depends on what question or issue the reading was for, AND what the layout was. Generally, swords refers to beliefs and opinions, while pentacles are for education, culture, and such.

Perhaps this means to quit offering unfounded opinions and get some real education to base your beliefs on. Or, it could mean that you are passionate about teaching, justice, or righteous living.

I use the Druid Animal Deck and the Celtic Tarot

Suggestion by flyingheart3
I THINK its : Facing left means normal position and facing right is reversed

Suggestion by sdc_99
The second card in the celtic cross is never read as reversed, regardless of which way it is facing.

[Tarot Card] When “the Tower” represents a person, what kind of a person is he or she?
I have a friend whom I’m very skeptical about getting close. When I consulted Tarot cards asking about this friend, I got “the Tower”. Please help advise what does it tell about this person. Thank you.

Suggestion by Elaine M
It’s someone going through some major life changes where they are questioning everything and nothing seems to be able to go back to what it was. Basically a person who feels like the rug’s been pulled out from under them and they’re ‘falling’.

The transition should not last long, but it depends on the person. Some land on their feet and reinvent their life around them, some take a longer time at it. A person who lost a close friend would be in a tower situation. A person who was shoved out of the house or any of the Katrina victims are in a tower situation. You can see what’s involved if you look at it that way.

But the card is a transition card, it’s not permanent. For the two of you, just be aware that who you see this person being right now is not who they are going to be in 3 or 6 months.

Suggestion by Clay
The jist of it is that the person is a radical. They defy old logic and customs and take nothing on principle. Very chaotic personality.

Suggestion by Honey
I agree with Elaine, this card represents transition, but reason for caution and or worry.

I hope you find the answer you seek and peace in your heart.

What is the diffrence between Palm Readings,Tarot Card Readings, and Psychic Readings?
Explain the diffrence, and which do you think is more effective?

Suggestion by ….
neither, it just ways of bsing people. each way is creative and they can all be simple. just depends on how much you can do it for the money.

Suggestion by eArLyWiNtEr♥
I don’t know, but the one thing they have in common is that they’re all fake.

Suggestion by Kashtastic
Palm readings are looking at a person’s palm and saying things about them and their lives based on the lines on their hand.
Tarot card readings are where they look at cards and depending on what cards are drawn, different meanings are gotten.

And I think both of the above are considered kinds of psychic readings.

I think it depends on what you believe as to what’s the most effective. I personally don’t think that my whole past and future is mapped out on the lines on my hand. But so people do, and that works for them..

I also think that no matter what you want to believe, it can be found in a tarot reading. The cards just give you some vague idea of something, and depending on what you want it to say, is how you interpret it. Like the death card can mean
* Ending of a cycle —– Loss —– Conclusion —– Sadness
* Transition into a new state —– Psychological transformation
* Finishing up —– Regeneration —– Elimination of old patterns
* Being caught in the inescapable —– Good-byes —– Deep change

or anything else. So I think that in everyone’s lives, this can be applicable someway.

And I think with fortune telling you need to be careful not to change how you would have lived, and decisions you would have made because you might make something the cards said come true that otherwise wouldn’t have because you wouldn’t have done what you did.
Like there’s a dodgy Australian TV presenter who got a reading done and they said that he would get a job on TV, so then he auditioned for heaps of roles and eventually got one. I doubt he would have auditioned if the cards didn’t tell him to (or his interpretation of the cards).

Has anyone ever done clow card tarot readings, and are they accurate?
I recently got my hands on the book that shows you how to do the readings, but I’m not really sure if the cards readings are even accurate. I don’t want to end up wasting my time on them if they do end up not being as accurate as I hope they will be, so if anyone has had experience please respond.

Suggestion by SoutaK.
It is your choice to believe if the prediction/ reading/ meditation is correct and accurate. It’s not going to tell specifically what to do or how to do it. It only guides you where you need to go and what path you should take. If you don’t think they can help you then they won’t.

Simple as that.

Suggestion by ✿Mackenzie♬
I don’t believe in that stuff 🙂 sorry

Tarot card the fool meaning help!!!?
Poeople here on yahoo answers have been telling me that the fool does not mean a new beginning but every tarot card meaning website says it does, for example,

– Tarot Card Meanings ool Tarot card is a card of potential, new beginnings and innocence. This Tarot card s the highest potential for your life, reaching a state of renewal and new beginnings e each day is an adventure and each moment is lived to the fullest. The Fool card sents the beginning of all creativity and a desire to accomplish new goals (or to, at lea he opportunities are just waiting to be taken advantage of. arot reading, the Fool represents the need to set forth on a new.

So who’s right? I’ve been wanting to get a tat that symbolizes rebirth besides the common pheonix and everything these websites have been saying about the fool is so perfect but I don’t want to get a tattoo and be wrong about it.

Basic Tarot Meaning

At #0 (or, in some decks, #22, the last card as much as the first of the Majors) the Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he needs to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning.

But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. While it’s wonderful to be enthralled with all around you, excited by all life has to offer, you still need to watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

Thirteen’s Observations

As a card, the Fool ultimately stands for a new beginning often involving a literal move to a new home or job. The querent (meaning the sitter, or the one asking the cards for advice) might be starting to date again, or trying out some new activity. There’s more than just change here, there is renewal, movement, and the energy of a fresh start.

In the Tarot, cards like The Magician or The Hermit can often stand for the querent or for someone in the querent’s life. The Fool, however, usually stands for the querent, himself. They are back at zero, whether that be in romantic affairs, or career, work or intellectual pursuits. Far from being sad or frustrated by having to start over, however, the querent feels remarkably *free*, light hearted and refreshed, as if being given a second chance. They feel young and energized, as excited as a child who has discovered a new toyshop. Who knows what they will find on the shelves?

In addition, they likely have no idea where they’re going or what they’re going to do. But that doesn’t matter. For the Fool, the most important thing is to just go out and enjoy the world. To see what there is to see and delight in all of it.

Unfortunately, this childlike state can make one overly optimistic or naive. A Fool can be a Fool. That business opportunity might not be so surefire or amazing as it seems, and that new lover might not be so flawless.

Like the Fool, you might be so busy sightseeing and imagining the possibilities that you completely miss the fact that you’re about to go right off a cliff! The card advises that one listen to that watchful little dog, which might be a concerned friend, a wise tarot reader, someone harassing you from the sidelines, or just your instincts. However exciting new beginnings may be, you still have to watch your step.

Is there a site that gives an explanation of the meaning of each card in each possible position on the Tree of Life spread?
I do this spread very often, and while I love consulting my personal library, I was wondering if there was a website that either had drop down boxes for each sephirah or something..
Anyone come across one?

Suggestion by krazyabouthim
satan/demons try this. satan/demons have been around since the beginning so they know much about family, friends and others. Psychics use demons to tell them things like this. A demon will tell them to tell you something like this: ‘your mom will call you in two days’. And then to make this happen demons go to your mom’s house in two days and whisper until she calls you. Demons just manipulated your mom to call you, but you think the psychic is something. Well they are evil and use evil to do and/or influence things to keep you from God.
Do not invite evil into your life or that of others.

I’ve not seen one, but that’s an interesting idea. I wonder if you could create one.

why is it illegal to sell card proxys online?
I have made some mtg card proxys and want to sell them online but i have read that people can report you and get u into alot of trouble.
So i just want to know why you can get in trouble for selling proxys online.
should i just list them as “fakes”?

Suggestion by How would I know
Because you’re violating international copyright laws.

Suggestion by MagdaRose
It’s not selling the proxy’s that gets people into trouble, it’s selling proxys but listing them as real or not telling the possible buyer that they aren’t the real thing.

If you make absolutely clear that the card they are purchasing is NOT the real deal, and that it is a PROXY, then you should be fine.

If they are cards you made though, you might want to be careful. You shouldn’t be selling for profit something that has copyrighted pictures or logos without permission from the copyright holder.

Using a credit card online safely!?
I would like to order something online from a website that im a little nervous about using my credit card lol (i only really trust amazon!) But i remember reading online one time about someone using a special kind of credit card that scrambles your real credit card number or if i could allocate money to an internet credit card so i can never be scammed of them taking more than what i pay for. If anyone knows what im trying to get at or knows how to order with credit card safely, please let me know in a detailed response. i would appreciate it immensely!!!
They only accept VISA, need more answers?

Suggestion by stayc
well have you thought about using paypal?
it protects you and your money so if you are scammed, you get your money back.

another idea, try getting a prepaid visa card. that’s what my mother prefers to use. you can get one at walmart or any drug store for about $ 9 and you can reload it any time you want. just put the cash amount on the card when you need it.

like i suggested: a prepaid VISA card.

Suggestion by Elise L
Get a paypal account. Most websites allow payment through paypal, and they won’t see your credit card number.
