The devil likes all card games. He’s a fan of Uno, so burn your Uno cards.

Have you ever had a tarot reading before?
I’m planning to get one done. Do you think it was worth it? Or Why didn’t you get it done, if you never?
Did it come true, your reading?

i have tarot cards…..i attempted to read them….with an instruction book….but i fail….

Suggestion by Alice
I have my own tarot cards, so I do my own readings. I’m not superstitious or anything, but I believe they help. They don’t tell me whats going to happen, they just make me more positive. For example, one card is called “Surrender and release” which basically means let go of grudges, or guilt.
They basically clear my mind. Might do one tonight actually 😀

It’s best to get one in person. for me when i’ve given them I like people to touch the cards

Suggestion by Silver
The best thing would be to do it in person. Or, you can get a tarot deck and learn to do it yourself. I found this great website that has begginer’s decks. Check it out at http://www.silverwingtarot.com

Otherwise, if you’d rather, feel free to contact me and I can do a reading for you.

I want to buy a deck of tarot cards but when I went to the store there was so many, which do I chose?
I went to Barnes & Nobles the other day and in the spiritual section they had box cases of tarot card decks. There was many different varieties from the “A dummy’s guide to Tarot Cards” which included a deck of cards and a mat to other more generic ones. How can I decide which one will be the best buy? Will any be different from others?

Suggestion by Who aren’t you?
The art will be different. They all should be the same number and variety of cards. Though even Barnes & Nobles doesn’t have that great of a selection.

I’d suggest you look at them and find one that comes with some literature on it too, unless you want just to have a deck of cards and no more.

Suggestion by The irresistable Wonder Weirdo
It doesn’t matter, they don’t really do anything. But if you have your heart set on a deck, the the Rider Waite deck.

Suggestion by Dr. Todd
What exactly are you wanting to do? Have you considered praying? I have generally found that more productive and therapeutic than trying the mystical methods such as tarot cards

Tarot cards: What Card do you find expresses jail time?
Hello Tarot Readers:

I was wondering in your experience, what card implied jail time or what combination of cards imply this to you?

Blessed be.

The one headed ‘At Her Majesty’s Pleasure’.

Stolen credit card.

It’s not a single card. But if there were, I would suggest 8 of Swords. For major arcana, I would look to the Hanged Man reverse, or the Devil with Justice.

How do u read playing cards like tarot cards?
Ever since i was little i always wanted to read tarot cards but i like to be different so imma read playing cards. How do i do it

Suggestion by Chipmunk
There are two main kinds of cartomancy – one is tarot, the other is gypsy and gypsy is often more associated with playing cards, however there is a few variations on how you can use for tarot. Personally, I prefer the simple, no fuss version.

Cups = hearts
Wands = diamonds
Swords = spades
Coins = clubs

(some variations will have coins and wands swapped over, I only visualise wands/cups as light and swords/coins as dark and more similar to each other – however it’s entirely up to you)

And from there your aces to kings are as always. Because it’s not the “natural” way to read tarot (aka not tarot cards) then more than ever, each card and suit can be designated as you feel the most comfortable with and can “tune” each suit to what you feel it most corresponds to.

Is it true that Playing Cards started off as Tarot Cards?
Someone once told me that Playing Cards where originally created to be used as tarot cards, is there any truth to this or is it may be that people that did the tarot started using Playing Cards? I would like to clear up this myth.

Suggestion by Sadhara Satguru

From what I remember about Tarot history – no.

Early playing cards were far more decorative than they are now, which may be where this stems from. The opposite is probably true that Tarot stemmed from playing cards.

Suggestion by SpiderBear
i do not think it is true, as tarot cards are all different and have a signifigant meaning to each of them. playing cards do not.

Suggestion by Lillith
It’s hard to say, it is like which came first, the chicken of the egg.
Contrary to what the person above said about tarot and playing cards being different, if you look at the suits, they are actually the same.
Suit of Hearts, hearts makes people think of love, that would be the suit of Cups.
Suit of Diamonds, diamonds representing riches, that is the suit of Pentacles
Suit of Spades, like a dagger or such, speaks of thinking and words, that is the suit of Swords
Suit of Clubs, a wooden thick stick, the suit of Wands is shown with ‘wooden sticks’ and is the suit that represents creative energy, like a magic wand.
In a world with so much persicussion for having certain beliefs, I could see how ‘playing cards’ may have been a disguise for tarot.
The first known set of real playing cards came from the far east and where round and did not have a format like todays cards, tarot or play.

Are you afraid to have your Tarot Cards read?
Some people get excited to have there Tarot Cards read, but others are very very afraid. Why is that? What’s the big deal?

Suggestion by Clay
Most who are afraid link Tarot to Theistic Satanism (like hardcore Christians). I’m not afraid to have them read, because I think they are mainly bogus.

Suggestion by Corkey411
Well, i am afraid because i believe to know your future is the greatest burden of all. If it is something bad, your going to try to change it and your might just go to far and end up dying.

If it is good, your might take it for granted and think nothing can harm you. Tarot Cards are very strong and shouldn’t be messed with unless your know what your doing.

Yes, call me crazy, but i have to carry around a blue bead (superstition) in my pocket to protect my self because i believe in tarot cards and all that supernatural stuff. I don’t care if you think i’m crazy. I’ve heard it before.

Suggestion by I’m not your Granny
Some people are worried about what their future might hold. It’s like knowing your IQ. What would you do if you found out that you actually had a few less IQ points than average? You’d feel very stupid and go into a depression.
