How can you buy online without a card of any type?
I have not reached the age where this would be an issue, but it may be later. I don’t like credit cards due to the fact that it doesn’t rely on immediant capital, and I just read that debit cards can be dangerous online.

Regardless of my reasoning, is it possible to buy things online if you do not have/do not want to use a credit or debit card?

Suggestion by rtfm
If the site you’re buying from accepts Paypal, you can use that by linking your Paypal account to your bank account.

You may find a site that will allow you to pay by check, but that’s pretty unusual.

You could always try using a prepaid debit/credit card. Many sites accept those.

You could also buy a gift card for the site you want to purchase items from (for example, an eBay gift card, or an iTunes gift card.)

You might want to have a look at this card and see how it works (read the user agreement?)
also this one works in more or less the same way but it’s a bit more for “grown ups” and will report to credit agencies:

Accurate Tarot card readings website online?
Is there any accurate tarot card reading websites that I can go to?

Suggestion by Miss 6
Automated card sites are not accurate – a real person doing a reading for you is.
You should check out Angelo he is a very accurate reader. http://www.angelonasios.com/

Can I buy an Amazon.com gift card online and use it myself?
Sometimes there’s a sale on Amazon gift cards online (like maybe $ 5 off a $ 100 gift card) and I wanna use my current Amazon credit/balance to buy one and use it myself… but I’m not sure if I can do that. I tried reading their Terms but they’re a little unclear on this. Anyone know?

Suggestion by mr.niceguy
Absolutely yes, you can… if you have just the paypal accounts or whatever accounts that fits to their requirements, then you can have your card delivered to you.

Suggestion by Peter
Hey Timmy!

Sure you can!

under “Restrictions”
That’s the only restriction.
Basically you cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. That’s all.

What type of tarot card deck do you use?
Was it given to you or did you purchase it?
Do you find that the deck given to you is more accurate?
Do you own or use more than one deck?
What types?
Do your decks follow any type of traditions or religious belief?

Suggestion by wmayers99
I have twenty of them – they’re referred to as packs and not decks – but that’s not a big deal. I use them now and then for entertaining guests and friends – they cannot be used to accurately and precisely predict the future, but it’s fun to do readings. Mine follow several different traditions, including Native American – but again, nobody should bet the rent on the predictions that Tarot readers give. Or on the I Ching, for another.

Suggestion by Jinny E
Actually, I work with Wicca cards, they are called the Well Worn Path. I think they are more accurate, and a lot easier to learn than the major and minor arcaina in Tarot.

Three – Rider/Waite – Arthurian Tarot – Mage the Ascension
All were purchased by me..

All three are based off of the Rider/Waite deck, but the Arthurian has a bit of Celtic undertones to it, and the Mage the Ascension deck is from the White Wolf games, Mage the Ascension.

what type of Tarot card deck should a beginner start out with?
i am a 16 year old girl who is interested in learning on how to use Tarot cards but i don’t know how to use them but i have heard that their are certain types that a beginner should use please help me if u know ^_^

Suggestion by Haley F
Well, to begin with, this is probably the wrong category. Ah, well.

It has been said that the Rider-Waite deck is a good deck to start out with, although you generally should just go to a deck that attracts you. Whether it is simply the deck itself or the images or even something deeper, it is up to you. Or, as an alternative, you can create your own.

Suggestion by Astro Lady
If you’re drawn to colors and bright images, use the Crowley THOTH cards. They’re eye-catching and don’t have many figures of humans in the deck, except for the Court cards.

Other than that, most amateurs start off wit the Universal Rider-Waite deck. The original deck has been modified several times (some think it’s quite dull and boring) and now there’re the Radiant Rider-Waite and Smith-Waite decks which are excellent for beginners as they do not deviate much from the original.

the original rider waite deck
is good i guess

what is the best tarot card deck to buy?
i’ve always really wanted to buy myself a tarot card deck and learn how to read them, mostly just out of interest and curiosity, but i’ve come to realize that there are many types of decks out there. i’m seeking both personal and professional advice as to what the best tarot card deck to buy is?

Suggestion by CoShoe
Just get a cheap one, and a book from the library that tells you what they mean.

I LOVE the Gilded Tarot. It’s easy to read, gorgeous pictures. It’s incredible. It’s my first deck.
And only so far. I feel such a connection, and it always steers me in the right direction.

You want something that you really feel a connection with though.

Not really good idea

What type of tarot deck do you use/suggest?
I’m looking to replace my deck. I like to own decks that are unique and that I feel a connection with rather than the traditional Rider-Waite deck. Does anyone have a favorite unique deck they’d recommend?

Also, can anyone recommend a good tarot book that gives basic meanings, spreads, etc.

but this one is my favourite

good luck xx

If you can find it, the Ancestral Path Tarot is interesting. Each of the suits is based on a different mythology:

Wands – Egyptian
Swords – Japanese
Cups – Arthurian
Pentacles – Native American

Beautiful artwork on the cards. Unfortunately I think the deck is out of print.

Also, check out http://www.aeclectic.net for lots of information on tarot decks and meanings.

Which Tarot Deck Should I Buy?
I noticed on Tarot.com that there are about 30 types of Tarot Decks.

Also how much would a Deck cost?

Suggestion by Steve H
Traditionally for a Tarot deck to work it has to be gifted to you.

Suggestion by Not a meme
Don’t buy them online unless you get to see the images. It is a very personal process so you must agree with the aesthetic and find an intuitive link. Many people make their own and so the variety is limitless. In general, most people use Crowley’s Thoth deck.

Suggestion by Praire Crone
The RIder tarot deck, Waite Tarot deck and the Rider-Waite Tarot deck are all the same thing and are the best ones for basic tarot. Most others are based on this.

I have paid anywhere from 19.99 to 60.99 for a tarot deck depending on what artist did the art work. That is in US dollars.
